Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of PermitPulse, a public-records alert product operated by Velzyx AI Inc (“Velzyx,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Questions: info@velzyx.ai.
2. The service
PermitPulse emails daily digests of publicly available bid and permit information that may match your selected metro and trade (HVAC and/or roofing). We:
- Watch public sources we can access for covered metros
- Filter for trade-relevant matches
- Deliver alerts to the inbox you designate
We are not a lead broker of exclusive leads, a permit expeditor, a licensed contractor, or a law firm. Alerts are informational only.
3. Coverage honesty
We market nationwide HVAC/roofing interest and expand metro-by-metro as sources become watchable. We do not claim that every U.S. city is live today. After checkout we confirm whether your metro’s sources are live. If not, we will tell you honestly and either queue you for that metro or refund according to our refund practice below.
4. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate contact and filter information (metro, trade, alert email). You are responsible for activity under your subscription and for keeping your email reachable.
5. Plans, billing & cancellation
- Pulse One: $149/mo — 1 metro, 1 trade (HVAC or roofing)
- Pulse Dual: $249/mo — 1 metro, HVAC and roofing
Subscriptions are month-to-month and billed in USD via Stripe. You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Chargebacks for services already provided may result in account termination.
6. Refunds
If we cannot cover your requested metro after checkout and you do not want to wait on a queue, contact info@velzyx.ai promptly for a refund of the unused subscription period. Otherwise, fees are generally non-refundable once alerts have begun for a confirmed live metro, except where required by law or where we choose to issue a goodwill credit.
7. Acceptable use
You may use alerts for your legitimate contracting business. You may not: scrape or resell our digests as a competing data product; misuse public-record contact data in violation of law; attempt to disrupt our systems; or misrepresent affiliation with Velzyx or PermitPulse.
8. Public records & no guarantees
Public sources can be incomplete, delayed, wrong, or unavailable. Matching is imperfect. We do not guarantee: that you will win work; that every relevant filing will appear; that listed parties are contactable; awards, appointments, or revenue; or uninterrupted delivery (email providers and source outages happen).
9. Intellectual property
The PermitPulse name, site design, and our software/processes are owned by Velzyx. Public records remain subject to their originating sources’ rules. You get a limited license to use alerts for your internal business while subscribed.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELZYX DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELZYX’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID TO VELZYX FOR PERMITPULSE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Velzyx against claims arising from your misuse of the service or of information in alerts, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. We may suspend or end access for nonpayment, abuse, or operational reasons. Provisions that should survive (e.g. liability limits) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Courts in Delaware shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, except where prohibited.
